Unassuming little place with top shelf pizza. I've eaten here many times and it never fails.
Fantastic crust and sauces with just the right amount of garlic.

Don't pay the old guy before you get your pizza in hand because he won't give it back after he's done cursing you out

I grew up with Pizza Den. I moved out of Brooklyn 7 years ago.

It's typical Pizza place...  nothing fancy. It's a good pizza shop to grab and go. It's right near the train station and bus stops.

It is not one of those fancy pizzeria, it's not your typical mouth watery pizza.

We usually order pizza over the phone and we pick up the pizza. We lived a block away from the pizzeria. Somehow the pizza will be little over cooked or being skimpy with toppings.

We started to show up at the pizzeria, to place a order and we would watch them make pizza. They make it really good. We would ask them to add extra fresh garlic, extra basil and oregano spice on the dough before they add the sauce. Being generous with the toppings and we would talk to the guys behind the counter. Nothing special just being friendly.

When they start to buy premade square pies... things started to go down hill.

During the summer time, they leave the double doors open and it's great opportunity for the flies to come into the pizzeria, they land on food that's behind the counter. I would find that disgusting.

Over the years... we lost interest in their pizza, we started to visit other pizzerias for our pizza night on Fridays.

Right off D train is this conveniently located pizza joint. I love a good classic slice of NY pizza but this was not it. The guy took 10 seconds to heat up my slices, the result was this floppy, squishy, and sad thing.

Was in the neighborhood errands and craved pizza. Decided to come check this place out because it was the closest one. From the pizza on display. We decided to go with the margarita slice and a regular square pizza. To my surprise the margarita slice was full of flavor. The square slice was average.
